Scripture says God alone is the one that men should fear because he alone can cast both body and soul into hell. In judgment, Jesus (the Son) is to be esteemed equal to the Father. Yet Satan is also said to hold men captive in sin to the fear of death. So, who has the power of death? How do we interpret these things alongside one another? That’s what this short video is all about.

We’ll look to Matthew 10:28, John 5:21-23, Hebrews 2:12-14 and Colossians 2:13-15 to find some of the answers. I hope it’s a blessing to you. We’ll also consult the London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689’s chapter five in part for some summary helps.
