Don't Wait. Baptize

There is no biblical precedent for waiting to baptize someone who professes faith in the risen Christ. It can seem wise to wait, and if a credible profession is not had or if someone does not seem to understand their baptism it may be wise to wait, but the apostolic pattern is not to wait when someone believes. The pattern is to baptize anyone who says they believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. Let’s talk about it.
