To the Saints in Pakistan (15 of 38). Romans 7:1-4

Back in chapter six, God’s mouthpiece clearly explained to his readers the reality of Christ bringing the believer into a “newness of life.” Romans 6:4. Here, beginning in chapter seven, he gives us a picture of salvation as an eternal union after a previous divorce. The divorce God enacts is between us and our sin in order that we might have a new union with God in Christ. It’s a marvelous picture. May God bless you as you join in.
