Today we’ll finish up chapter 24 and Dr. Grudem’s treatment on sin. Understanding the effects of sin upon the nature of mankind is crucial to numerous other doctrines in the Christian religion. Today we’ll mainly address questions about degrees of sin and the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. As all theology relates, this’ll lead us into an examination of Isaiah 10 and primary and secondary causality which is something we’ve talked about before.

Next week, Lord willing, we’ll be in chapter 27 on "Atonement". Looking very much forward to that part of the study! It'll be pp. 568-579 c(4) “Christ’s Death as “Penal Substitution”.
