Balancing Persecution as Peacemakers Today (37 min)

Joseph Pittano

It’s been well said that all news is just old news happening to new people. I think this is true. Solomon reflected on this saying, “What has been, it is what will be, and what has been done, it is what will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9. Christians are facing the same old persecution today in America and in many nations it’s just in a new technological era and comes from some sources with new names like “secularism.” Secularism is a religious ideology filled with philosophy and complete with its own priests and dogmas. Jesus says in Matthew 5:9-10: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” How do we balance these things in our lives? That’s what I’d be privileged to talk with you about here today.

God bless!!!
