Ordain or Allow (9 min)

When you think of God's works in the world, or the world as it is as a whole today, what types of words come to mind when you think of his relationship to it? Is it words like "ordain," "command" or "order?" Or is it words like "allow" or "permit?" Perhaps it's none of these. Does God simply "allow" things like the fall of man into sin, or did he "ordain" it? Although no view should ever make God "responsible" or "culpable" for SIN in Satan or in man, the use of the right words/ideas can sometimes help us understand our beliefs and our God better.
