Laborers Adorning the Faith. Colossians 4:2-6 (49 min)

One commentator says how the passage before us today, “Shows that God is concerned both about our personal prayer life and our interaction with the world. He cares both about the prayer closet and the public street, and he wants us to care about both also.”

This passage makes sense of so much of what the Christian life should look like. I hope that for you, like me, considering these things invites you into proper prayer when you consider to whom you’re invited to pray, and thus what an amazing privilege it is to know he’ll actually listen like a loving father to a child. Paul had an office and a context in which to live this Christian life out. So did the Colossians in modern day Turkey. So do you and me.
