The Sermon on the Mount (29 min)

Matthew 5-7 has been rightly called, "The sermon of all sermons" for a reason. It is a true mine of God's wisdom on earth more abundant in resources than water and salt combined. Today, I want to talk a little bit about the setting of the sermon and focus us a bit on verse 3 where Jesus says, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Amen! Do you truly understand this? Have you been brought to the edge of you? If so, then like all eight beatitudes, it's available for you to strengthen your faith. I pray it does today.
