The Tremendous and Glorious Burden of Ambassadorship for the King of Creation (52 min)

Being a Christian is a humbling responsibility that I want to help people esteem. I want to esteem it in my own life. It’s a challenge not to be taken lightly to represent well the King of kings. It’s not like we work for Tom Cruise or something. Christians are stewards of something more precious than oxygen. A, “Faith that was once for all time handed down to the saints.” Jude 1:3. It’s been around for two thousand years and will be here, if any of us are, long after we’re gone. You’re called to be an ambassador to a kingdom larger than the Milky Way. Of course it’s hard to handle such a thing. It’s daunting. There are diverse opinions among those who seek to represent this kingdom because they all take it so very seriously. We’re diverse people trying to represent the triune God. Let’s talk about doing it well. Let’s talk about why it’s hard to do. Let’s talk about the spiritual realities we’re up against. And may God bless our time together.
