The burden of the Christian is knowing what’s wrong with the world. Sin. The joy of the Christian is knowing that Christ has ransomed them from the world. Isaiah was in that exact position in his own day. Many were. They saw the judgment of God on Israel. In this, they saw also the righteousness of God, and it refined their worship. Every believer that followed these dreadful days saw the redemption of God at work.
