James. Part 21. James 5:19-20. Summary & Conclusion

We’ll finish the book of James together today. This is the final part of 21 lessons through James that began on Sunday, 12 Apr 26. We pray they’re all a blessing to you as you study James with us. My summation of James as a whole: James presents a unified vision of Christian discipleship: genuine faith produces godly living. Believers are called to endure trials, control their speech, reject partiality, pursue heavenly wisdom, submit to God, and demonstrate mercy. The epistle does not present works as a substitute for faith, but as the necessary evidence of a living faith. What a text this is! What a Gospel we have! To God be the glory alone.
