Good News. The Gospel Is Not Principally About You

It’s good to remember that the Gospel message of Jesus is fixed in heaven outside of us. It’s not up to us to make it true. For those who believe, the fact that it’s a finished work can assure our troubled hearts before God as we ebb and flow in life. We must war as needed to remember the amazing grace that’s been brought to us in Christ and the promise of his sure righteousness. Paul’s clear on how God’s grace toward Abraham, and Abraham’s faith in God, models this for us today. I hope this message is a blessing to you as we examine much of Romans 4 and 5:1-2 a bit today.
