We Are Bad at Being The Holy Spirit (4 min)

Just preach my friends. Just preach. God will be God. I’ll never forget recording this message in Iraq back in 2008. We were weeks away from coming home after nearly a year away. I was a young platoon leader, and I’d just handed out about a hundred Gospel message CD’s (yes, back when we used those) to a bunch of guys on the COP (combat outpost). I’d had many conversations. The guys I thought who’d be the most resistant were often the most gracious. Those I thought would be most receptive were the coldest. I just had this thought.
