Two Parables and an Evidence of Inspiration

One of the ways we know that the Bible is the word of God unlike anything else is its sufficiency and its depth. It speaks to everything. Seeing its unique nature is also a matter of its amazing applicability to our everyday lives. How can words spoken nearly two thousand years ago in a world almost nothing like ours speak with such applicability at all let alone with the depth in which they do? I want to look to two of Jesus’s parables today to reflect on the unique nature of the Bible.
