Men do not invent Christianity. Part of the clear proof of the Bible’s inspiration is its inexhaustible depth. This chapter leaves us all fully accountable for our lives before a God who became like us in Christ, but who is clearly not at all like us. He is higher. So much higher. He is holy. He is to be feared. It’s a privilege to fear God. This is a jet tour through a Bible book, like any book, that I'd rather not ever move through so quickly. I got to teach this class many years ago in Louisiana (at a church near Fort Polk) just before a deployment to Afghanistan. It's in the video section of the site as well. I had to move through it quickly being constrained by my timeline.
