What the Bible Means by What It Says

Good Bible study will always include the matter of interpretation. Hermeneutics is the art and science of interpretation. No one, and no group, can eliminate the need for each of us to properly interpret God’s infallible word as we have the privilege of reading it. This doesn’t mean there isn’t one meaning of any text we should seek after, or that it’s not clear, but God gives us plenty of latitude on a lot of subjects. People can twist a lot of Bible subjects to their own destruction. I want to give one example of how this might work and talk about a few important aspects to considering proper interpretation and balance.
