This class continues to examine how the 66 book Canon of Scripture came to be. How can you trust a bunch of fallible sinners to collect infallible books and put them in the Bible? Answer: you can't; you must ultimately have a sovereign God to make it possible. Surely we'd have messed this up if it were up to us as a church. This doesn't mean that we can't see how it worked, and be shown why we can absolutely trust God in all of it. God gave us the canon. We received it, as with all things, at a time in history.
