Speaking in Tongues is Not Needed (19 min)

There was indeed at one time a true and God-given miraculous gift of tongues. It was for unbelievers. This message mentions that blessed gift several times. Could God do it today? Sure. Perhaps he does. The idea of "private prayer languages", however, an ideology most often associated with those in the Pentecostal Charismatic church, is a distortion of that original sign gift, and is not in accordance with wisdom. Private prayer languages were never something God gave. Ever. Never has, never would.
