The Inheritance of the Believer

Christians truly are heirs of eternal life. The value of this fact surpasses everything that the world, the flesh or the devil could offer. The inheritance of heaven and earth is a part of what’s placed before the believer in this life. We come to the Cross for the forgiveness of sin. What we receive is God himself. What we receive is everything we could ever ask or need. It is the “Upward call of God in Christ” that I’m talking about here. It is a glorious and hard calling. There is nothing and nowhere more to be desired than what’s found in Christ. Repent of your sin and trust in Christ alone. It’s worth it all.
