Conformity to the Image of Christ Is the Goal (44 min)

“For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.” Romans 8:29-30. This audio message is about highlighting what “conformed to the image of His Son" means. Part of God's purpose in making life as we know it is to create a redeemed people through Christ. The triune God will glorify himself in their salvation. There is an end-goal then to the faith of the Christian. That goal is said here to be conformity to Christ. Jesus came to redeem "many brethren." But how does God do this in us? What are we to do to become more like Jesus in our lives? God is at work within us both to will and to do, but we're not left without instruction. This audio message's goal is simple. It's about helping you consider just how exactly God makes his people more like Jesus.
