Confessionalism (60 min)

No one’s an island, but God speaks directly to Christians in the Bible. History and creeds do not “Lord over” our interpretations of Scripture, but they should guide it. They should guide us. We stand on many shoulders in the Faith. On a drive into Wittenberg, Germany today, I’m thinking about the ditches surrounding confessionalism, and I’d really like to share my thoughts with you. I’m a confessional guy, but I’m confessional because I both believe and practice Sola Scriptura.
