James. Part 2. James 1:1b-11

Today, we’ll continue with a lesson through vs. 11 of the first chapter of James. We’ll consider James’ audience a bit more, God’s call for endurance, the invite to wisdom with our glorious God, and the humbling and transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ for both the rich and the poor. We, the rich, in considering these words should pay particular attention to our devotion to the Lord in our lives so that we can take joy in our humiliation as often as possible and die rich with God. Next week, Lord-willing, we’ll continue on in chapter one. I sincerely hope you’ll join us.
