“Pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.” Matthew 22:21. Jesus is the King of kings and says this of the lower kings.
“Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.” Romans 13:1-2. The man who wrote this had his head removed from his body not long afterwards. What an honor it is to live in the light of a form of government one can admire. A system instituted to the glory of God and implementing his wisdom into a way of life for the blessings of one’s kids for generations to come. The U.S. government was designed to secure God’s unalienable rights and blessings to our people. The secular atheism of our day would never have produced it. Atheism produces communism, but not our form of government. The rule of law in the United States is a blessing to everyone who lives under it. We should learn of it, celebrate it, and fight to protect it.
