Romans 2

Title: Romans 2
Message Description:

Romans 2 continues Paul’s anthropological focus, but more so on the Jewish members of the body of Christ. No one is free from the effects of sin. Not even those who are of the nation of Israel. The first three chapters of Romans detail the sinful predicament of mankind as a whole to an exhaustive degree. Just as the gospel is shown in its universal applicability, so the problem of sin must be detailed in its worldwide context. The sin that has killed all men requires the gospel if any are to be saved. This will move us directly into the content of chapter three at a walking pace. Paul is setting up his readers for the greatest explanation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the world’s ever seen.
