Ephesians Study. Part 2. 1:7-12

Title: Ephesians Study. Part 2. 1:7-12
Message Description:

Christianity is rooted in fact. It is rooted in history. The fact of Christ’s Resurrection capstones it all. The many other evidences of God keeping his promises thousands of times in the people’s history roots a true faith from him today to something well beyond anything even remotely tenuous. We do not hope in ourselves. We do not hope in our works. We hope in the already risen Christ. King Jesus the eternal incumbent. I want you to know just how certain that hope really is! Paul wants us to know it! God has made his will known to man in ten thousand ways. In Christ, shining over all of God’s word, we see his will displayed in bold relief. Today, we’ll continue through Ephesians 1 with verses 7-12 to consider well what Christ has done. How does God impute righteousness by the Cross? That’s what we’re about today. We’ll consider what it means to have redemption in him as Ephesians 1:7 says. We’ll also look at most of Romans 3:21-31 and 5:1-2 to see our goal in Ephesians in light of what’s said there. I pray you’re blessed as you join God’s saints today here in Poland. Immediately following the sermon we’ll have our weekly question and answer session. Once this series is finished, the messages will be placed back to back in order.
