Being in Christ means that the believer’s faith is rooted in every applicable promise of God’s grace in the Bible. And there are many. It is all both simple and complete in him. Here it is on Paul’s authority: “But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yes and no. For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silvanus and Timothy—was not yes and no, but is yes in Him. For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-22.

I had to listen to this message twice this morning on my run! I am so humbled by the providences of God in my life. You can either listen to it or watch the video at the link provided. What a precious thing it is to learn what it means to truly "trust in the Lord." The message is called, "A Word to High School Graduates."
