Christianity and Satanism are the only valid religions on earth. All others are false in the most fundamental way. Please understand that by calling Satanism valid I’m not saying that it’s ok, approved by God or good. All I mean is that when an informed Satanist “prays” they really do know the one they’re praying to. If they know him then it is no false non-existent being they seek. Every other world religion prays and thinks that their god listens, but it’s sadly only the Devil they can address. They are deceived as to the form of their god unlike the informed Satanist. Paul said to the Corinthians, “…That the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons,” 1 Corinthians 10:20. A person with spiritual fellowship in any other religion than Christianity is ultimately in fellowship only with Satan. This is nothing new. Moses writes of the same thing in Deuteronomy 32:17.
What we must understand is that Satan knows well what works to perform to keep his adherents believing that their god listens to them. He does this in things both overt and covert like divination, poetry, drugs, sex, song, false love, false religion, riches, the celebration of sin and more. The Bible says that Satanic messengers can even do miraculous works that deceive, Mark 13:22; 2 Corinthians 11:14. When Moses and Aaron were sent to the pharaoh, pharaoh’s sorcerers were able to turn their staffs into serpents by supernatural power. This was done by Satanic power. Satan, in their day, took the form of their gods. When pharaoh saw this power he would be hardened by evil through praise to his non-existent gods. Aaron’s rod had just been changed by God and then, “Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents…” Exodus 7:11-12. Every man made a stick a snake! Yikes!
As Christians, we must understand that God’s truth is what changes everything. We must pray and remain close to God as our only strength and leader. We must remain weak in our eyes by developing an accurate picture of ourselves in Scripture. When the Bible says, “…The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…” in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 it means that all the falsities of any day fall like nothing when God wishes. It should be our greatest comfort in service to God that as we grow in our knowledge of the Bible we are, 1) “…Thoroughly equipped for every good work,” 2 Timothy 3:16-17. And that, 2) as we work in love that we can never fail. 1 Corinthians 13:8.
Satan has many religions. Their priests can turn sticks into snakes. Just like in Aaron’s day, however, our snakes will consume theirs. Exodus 7:12: “…But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.”
