The Love of the Cross Teaches Us to Love Others as They Are, Not as We Demand They Should Be (46 Min)

Title: The Love of the Cross Teaches Us to Love Others as They Are, Not as We Demand They Should Be (46 Min)
Message Description:

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35. I want to explore these words with you today in a few ways. Love comes from God. Jesus demonstrated it. He showed the world what God’s love looks like among men. How our love then now as Christians influences our loves in the world is something worth exploring. I hope to help you do so in this message today. Christianity alone provides the basis for true reconciliation in the world. First with God and then also among men. The Gospel is what truly unites. Nothing can withstand it. The Cross can eliminate all man-made artificial walls of separation. We are taught by Jesus to love others as God has loved us. We love them then just as they are because that’s how God came to us. This changes everything in we’re made wise by it. Blessings!
