Our author encourages his readers to look to Christ and run well. He also reminds them why they should. Christ is seated on his throne. Look to him. Run after him. Cut off your hands, pluck out your eyes, drop your every weight. Run! Run well! Run with endurance and don’t stop until it’s time to kneel at his throne and cast your crowns back at his glorified feet! Consider the witness the Old Covenant saints left to us. Run so as to be numbered among them in the halls of heaven. We’ll consider some other texts today to explore the truths given to us here more clearly.
