Fornication (60 min)

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. “Pornos” (transliterated) is translated as “sexually immoral” here. It can be translated as “fornicators.” It’s those who have sex outside of marriage. I hope you take this seriously. God surely does. I want to talk about this with you today. Fornication is killing many of us. I want to talk about this so that people would live. We’ll talk about 1 Corinthians 6:11 too and the good news of deliverance in Christ. I’ve come under conviction this month that I have no messages specifically addressing the sin of fornication. And I should. I’ve addressed it maybe a thousand times along with mentioning some other sins, or in a sermon, but I have nothing online for this specific thing, and it’s clearly the most prominent form of sexual immorality. It should be addressed specifically. I want to walk you through a talk about fornication in the Bible. I also want to talk to you about the Savior who loves and delivers us. I pray this message helps you see more of both what sex is for, and what it shouldn’t be for.
