"But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted." -Jesus.

Even Our Works Must Be Purified (26 min)

Views: 487 Title: Even Our Works Must Be Purified (26 min)
Message Description:

Works are not pleasing to God unless they are done in the Holy Spirit. When a person is purified by Faith then their works become righteous and God will not forget them.

  • This talk on the canon of Scripture is extremely valuable. It's a talk between Dr. James White and Dr. Michael Kruger. It was part of a recent G3 Conference.

  • This message was absolutely wonderful. I cannot stress the importance of this message to everyone, especially to preachers. It's called, "The Highest Good of the Gospel." I so loved it! I think it is absolutely right on. John Piper has thousands of sermons online in various places. He has only a few here on Sermon Audio.

  • I can't recommend enough anything from the mind of Dr. James White. I thoroughly enjoy all of these episodes. This is simply a recent one. There's always something wonderful to learn about with him. For Christmas, my wife just ordered my 11 of his books. It's gonna be a good year. Spend time with this ministry.

  • I think the sheer weight of this message is the kind of thinking the church desperately needs in our day. Dr. RC Sproul talks about what evil is and where it came from. Questions like this stretch us. They break us. They show us our fragility, and send us back to God in humble faith. There is so much we have to learn. Surely only in eternity will we truly be able to handle such things, but here in this life, may we wrestle like this.

  • What a wonderful reminder of a wonderful biblical truth! Pastor Eric Meyer opens up a wonderful truth for us here in 2 Kings 2:1-11. To hear the message, after clicking on the icon above select the sermon, "People, Places, Presence, 2 Kings 2:1-11" delivered on 7/16/17.

  • I think this message from Pastor Mark Dever covers one of the most crucial topics facing the church today. It's entitled, "No Creed but Christ?" It was delivered at a 2010 Ligonier Conference.

  • Watching this video has changed many minds on the subject of abortion.
