Ephesians Study. Part 8. 3:8-15 (149 min)

Title: Ephesians Study. Part 8. 3:8-15 (149 min)
Message Description:

Before we begin the message today, I have the privilege of installing two fine young men as deacons in our chapel. What an honor it is to call these men friends and co-laborers in Christ. Once that’s complete, we’ll continue together in Ephesians three. There is no bottom to the ocean of truth that is Scripture! Each passage just reveals more in the hearts of God’s people. Paul is unveiling today even greater implications of the big picture. How can anyone speak of confidence and boldness to approach a holy and almighty God? Christians can. The Cross makes the way. Paul will remind his readers of this humbling reality today in the New Covenant administration of Christ. As we dive further down into the mystery revealed on earth in Christ, we’ll see I hope even more about what role God has given the church. That means to each and every believer. If you follow Jesus, you have a role on the world stage wherever he’s placed you. We’ll also consider what it means for Paul to call himself an Apostle to the Gentile world. What is an Apostle in the first place? How should we view them and their authority? What role do they play in our lives today? Once this series is finished, the messages will be placed back to back in order.

Our Q&A begins right after the sermon at about one hour and thirty-nine minutes. Today, I’ll field just a couple of questions on things like abortion, COVID-19 and human genetics.
