I’m always struck by the timeless applicability of God’s word. Paul’s words to Ephesus might just as well have been written in English to my church last month. But they weren’t. They were written in Greek roughly two thousand years ago to a church in modern day Turkey. In today’s passage, we’ll continue to see Paul build upon his exhorations to Christian living. We’ll do a bit of review and see more about how, and why, we should live out our faith. What a privilege it is to be a Christian! I pray you’re exhorted by our passage today. God wants fruitfulness. Following Jesus will always produce it.
