This message from pastor Mark Dever is from 2016. I was so very privileged to be excited to hear it again this morning. Pastors, this is especially for you. If you're not a pastor, I'd love for you to hear it too and perhaps share it with your pastor(s). It's good for every believer to understand this. And may God bless anyone in the work to be humbly excited that the Lord is at work in a billion ways we can't see every day.
I'd never heard of Dr. Paul Lim before, but I enjoyed listening to his testimony and talk here. It's always interesting for me to hear how people from different places and ages in life talk about God drawing them in. For this guy, it was a poorly performed song's lyrics.
I very much enjoy the preaching of pastor John Piper. I'm convinced after many years of study with him that the resistance he gets from some of potentially problematic statements are either a) because he's willing to take ecumenical risks that few of us are, without compromising the Faith, or b) because few men think as deeply in their exegesis as he does. This message is called, "How You Can Know You Are a Child of God?" It was preached in 2015. It is phenomenally insightful, warm and God-honoring.
What a phenomenal sermon from pastor Mark Farrell! This entire series through the Proverbs has been nothing short of astounding. I highly recommend the teaching from Tampa Covenant Church.
Watching this video has changed many minds on the subject of abortion.
