Stop playing around in sin! Stop playing with God. He plays for keeps. Wherever you are, listener/reader, I pray that God richly blesses you by today’s examination. John sets forth the test of righteousness in someone’s life to teach the children of God about why they’re not at home in the world anymore. He brings instruction that a life changed evidences grace. If you have a hope of heaven set before you, then you will live a life headed in that direction. It will show. It’s simple. In all its sanctifying complexity it’s just remarkably simple.
